A guy was accused of killing his wife, but he was never convicted. The town hasn't let it go and the accused stays in his home, orders his basic need, and never leaves the house until new neighbors move in who offer him friendship. It doesn't hurt that the woman looks just like his dead wife. This read started out interesting, but at the halfway point the story still hadn't moved very far. The over-talked conclusion was a bit much. Just an Okay read. The writing has potential.
