{Review} The Martian by Andy Weir

So this guy, Mark, gets to walk on Mars when a freak dust-storm
leaves him stranded and alone. His crew just took off!
Oh, okay. There was no warping and they didn't know he was still alive. Geez! Mark does not give up and say:
No, he decides to get creative by creating more oxygen and the things he'll need to stay alive, like potatoes:
No, not those kind. This kind:
I have to admit. I liked it when he started to
I thought for sure I would nod off
or skim
through the rest of the read, but Mr. Weir managed to keep my full attention. The humor in this read was unreal. The chats Mark had with the administration back home once communication was up would be serious
and then Mark would say something off-the-wall and I would crack up.
It's not all fun and games. The humor and the simplicity with which the author described the scientific stuff made this read a real
on all fronts. I listened to the audiobook which was fantastic! Thanks for the rec, E!
