I was trying to figure out what I liked about this series that I didn't with the Cross ones.
I think - don't quote me - that this read has a little more filling. Especially to the cases. Zack and Kylie are more hands on, running from site to site and tossing ideas back and forth which draws the reader into the crime, into the world more.

I like the pacing and characters of this story. I'll definitely be reading the next one.
