Gah! I like a little toughness, but this dude was prison thug. Going into rages is not sexy and the fact that Vic was thinking about jacking Rah during the whole read took a lot away from the story. Being that this story was told from both of the characters' point of view, ending up making Rah look like an idiot and Vic an all-out liar and thief. The writing itself was solid, with a few editing errors. Don't know if I'd read anything else by the author if it's all about thugs. It might have had more appeal when I was younger, now it's just dumb.
