I loved it. Maybe because Chuck is new to me and he thrilled me with his naughty wit and detestable words. Maybe it's because I had no expectations with only a pretty neat cover to go by. It doesn't matter because I like it!
I saw some reviews about the main character, Miriam, sounding and acting like a penis and booby obsessed boy, but I thought she was just a messed-up chick who you might roll by and never speak to, but she does exist. Potty-mouth that she is, I had a good time. Some of the scenes were horrific and might offend those with delicate sensibilities. Some of the scenes were gritty, witty and contained some one-liners I had to write down for my own. It may not win any literature awards, but it sure was a fun, fast, and thrilling read. I will definitely be reading more ofMr. Wendig's books. Sometimes you need to trade your 4 door mini-van in for a crotch-rocket. A recommended read~
