Sharp Objects

Sharp Objects - Gillian Flynn I didn't laugh. I didn't cry. I felt a certain dread, a feeling of wrongness. How can I say this book is awesome, like I would if it was horror. But it's not horror. It's about things that happen everyday in our real world, and when written in fiction form, gives you a sick feeling in the pit if your stomach, knowing that not every story ends with a happily ever after and ones sanity may be hanging on by a thread. Camille with Richard and that situation during a murder case didn't make the read any better. Not for sensitive people who don't like to read about child abuse and what not. A very gritty read.
