I care not a whit of who wrote this. That being said, it was just good. Not okay, not extraordinarily awesome in its awesomeness, just good.
Shit, Vic and her inner turmoil made me want to start using just to get through her ruminations/trippy-episodes and self discovery.
I felt sorry for Lou in a way, thinking she was all he could get. He was a true friend to her though. A very irritating thing he did was call her "dude." He was not a surfer, he rode a bike for goodness sake. "Momma' or "Woman' would have been more appropriate. Something bad-ass. Just sayin'~
The story started off great, with this creepy car, a creepy guy, and his creepy side-kick, but for me, that was as far as the horror part of this story went. You could easily take out the bridge and 4th dimension part of this story and have a mystery-thriller about some kidnappers who drug and brainwash children.
Christmasland wasn't anything spectacular. Just pretty lights and decorations and kids with jagged teeth.
For the record, I got a little bored and I would have skimmed if I wasn't constantly hoping/thinking that the next page would have something truly horrific on it.
