Sandman Slim: A Novel
The Sandman was the most unintelligent anti-hero ever. Run into danger, get hurt, do it again with more anger. Everyone in the story was an asshole, asshat, or an ass. I wasn't feeling this story. A lot of the characters had the same voice! Even steal-your-soul Lucifer was all hey, can I borrow that. This read also over-dosed on sarcasm. Not for me. I'd recommend Chuck Wendig's The Blue Blazes over this anytime. Chuck's anti-hero had heart and the world building was better.
