Born of Night (The League, Book 1)

Of these minutes I do borrow.
For life does leave me in the cold.
Untrustworthy to be told.
Pain has been my only friend.
My heritage brings about the end.
For in my quest to just be free.
I offend those who hate me for me.
by Nikki
Kiara would say something then renounce it in the next sentence. This happened so much that her character became a whiny, holier than though, lame-ass chick.
This read was just too much. Too many people. Too many questions and all of them answered..in detail. Thoroughly. With vigor.
I understand this was written long ago, before her more popular series. I don't know if this read was okay or that I just didn't like it. I do look forward to reading about the other secondary player in this universe so I guess I found something I did like.
