2.75 Stars ~ Has potential. It was good for a beginning writer. The MC was too rock-em sock-em, rinse and repeat (rush in to danger first, get a few licks in, get beat up, ask questions later, get cleaned up then repeat the process). The gargoyle reminds me of Kim Harrison's sidekick.
