Whew! That took a moment. I have to say that the beginning of the book did not pull me in as I had many starts and stop when picking up this book. Not to mention the fact that it has been a while since the previous book and I was NOT going to reread it to get acquainted with the characters all over again. Once my memory sparked, the story became more interesting. Some characters grew, other woefully did not. Patience is highly recommended as Jordan/Sanderson knows how to leak critical info in very tiny increments over the thousand page book and dangle just enough to make you want to continue. Overall a great read for Fantasy readers~
