Pale Demon (The Hollows, Book 9)

Pale Demon - Kim Harrison Rache can't seem to make smart choices with men or for her future. While this makes for a good read and variable plot points, it makes you wonder where the author is going. I liked Trent being mysterious, and him playing such a key role in this installment made me, more or less, dislike him and I was irritated at how many times the author made Rache talk about his looks, and her lusting thoughts during the first half of the read. It was, at times, inappropriate. Does anyone else remember Trent putting her in the cages? The second half picked up a bit with Rache and the Ku demon. I wished Ivy had not been put to the side as much. Jinx and Ivy make Rache a more sensible person and these stories better.
