The leading lady is a druggy. There is no getting past that for me. I know this is fantasy, but in no realm do I or my alter egos fantasize about the need to take or be dependent upon the narcs she inhaled throughout this book.
The wanna-be Rastafarian slang the author insisted on using didn't pull me into the story, it jerked me out.
To be honest I did a lot of skimming. I'm sure others will enjoy it though.
This type of read is not for me
