The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, Book 1)

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins The book started out slow describing the world, the people, and Katness. Around page 140, things started to get interesting. I won't go so far as to say the pace picked up, but I wanted to read faster. We are talking about living and dying. Katness never really got mad or got motivated to woman-up even with all her bravado. She would have died many times over if not for other people conveniently coming to her rescue. Next to Peeta she was a weak link. Peeta. Peeta. Peeta. Can you ever really trust him? Would you want a guy like that watching your back? A good YA read. I do have to say however, that the movie is better.
