I actually liked the female lead and was very happy with how the instant attraction progressed. I would like to see a few edges smoothed out in the coming books with some of the mannerisms, Conlan actually being more of a Prince in charge, and Denal and his old speak. Aleric also needs an attitude adjustment. The story grabbed me from the first page and I didn't even need to skip or skim anything! I could have gone for a little more sex and hopefully that happens in the next read. I really want to find out about B and how he gets his emotions back.
