Chorus of Dust

A so-so minus read that was lacking in the luster department. Simple sentence structure caused my attention to waver. More action, more emphasis on the big moments would have been helpful. At one point the main character, Adem, was being asked why he left for 10 years and never called. He hits the table or whatever, goes to his room, get his coat, gets in his car and leaves. No logical reasoning and very amateurish. We find out later why he left and it does not warrant the amount of time he spent away. This was a little too simple for my tastes. A friend loaned me this read otherwise I'd be really disappointed. Some religious content. Atheism and God. The ending. I didn't get to know the characters or care for them so the ending fell short. Not for me~
